DON DAVIDE

Born in Apulia, I started working in the field of construction at Edil General. My career took me to the heart of Campania with the Armed Forces in the Aeronautics sector, and later to Piedmont, where I worked on the "Tornado" fighter-bomber project. At age 24, I heeded the divine call to priesthood and moved to the seminary houses in Apulia and Rome. After years at university studying Sacred Theology, I moved to Tuscany to found the "Association Christian Community IXTUS" and later, the "Foundation IXTUS". In 2011, I moved to Palestrina, initially serving as the assistant parish priest at the Church of the Redeemer, but later found my calling at the Church of Santa Maria Maddalena in Capranica Prenestina, where I am still the parish priest. I’ve also served for two years as the parish administrator of the Church of Rocca Santo Stefano, entrusted to me by the Bishop. The pride of the parish and a magnet for high-profile musical talent is the Music Chapel of Maddalena; my church is not just a house of worship, but a hub for concerts, art exhibitions, and cultural meetings – a testament to my belief in the enrichment of the cultural life of my community here.
